NLP

Complete Clarity use NLP as the mainstay of their coaching techniques.

NLP, or Neuro Linguistic Programming, is the art and science that can be described succinctly as an "both attitude and methodology which leaves behind a trail of techniques."

" First, the attitude of NLP is one of curiosity and experimentation.

The next methodology is modelling, which is the process of precisely duplicating excellent behaviour. Another person's behaviour can be duplicated by studying what that person does inside their head (language, filters, programs, etc.) to produce results.

NLP was initially created in 1975 by Richard Bandler and John Grinder, who began modelling and recreating the "magical results" of a few top communicators and therapists. Some of the first people who were studied included the pioneering Hypnotherapist Milton Erickson, gestalt therapist Fritz Perls and family therapist Virginia Satir.

Since then, many others have contributed to the growth and development of the field.

Eventually the trail of techniques created through this type of modelling is what has become commonly known as NLP.

A few examples of effective NLP Techniques used in Therapy and Coaching include:-

Mapping Across

This is a powerful technique which enables the client to change a like to a dislike, so for example, if you wanted to give up chocolate, and had no idea how to do this, NLP Mapping Across will change the feelings and ideas associated with chocolate, into something which is entirely opposite, but equally compelling.  This powerful technique will provide sufficient momentum to enable you to give up eating chocolate, drinking too much coffee, drinking beer or pretty much anything you choose and are committed to changing at the deepest level.

Anchoring

Anchors are useful systems for helping us to control our emotions and our state of mind.
This can be particularly useful when needed for
sport,
stage fright
job interview
So you’ll understand how powerful anchoring can be, just imagine your favourite food has just appeared on TV. What’s happens to your state of mind and how you feel when you see this?!

Goal Setting

Setting your goals with an NLP Coach will create far more powerful results than just sitting down with a friend or relative and taking about what you’d like to be in the future.  NLP goal setting enables you to create an image in your mind and experience the sensation of what your future would be like within ecological boundaries for your current life situation.

Parts Integration

This powerful technique enable inner conflicts to be resolved by identifying the purpose of the conflicts at a very deep level.
Some typical examples of these conflicts could be

“I want to have a loving relationship, but I’m afraid of being hurt”

“I need a pay rise but I don’t think I’m good enough”

“I really want to change my career but I’m afraid of failure”
